We’re a working café in Joondalup with a clear purpose: real work grows real confidence.
Here, people with Autism and intellectual disability will build practical hospitality skills alongside an experienced team.
Meet the Cooking Crew!
After our son Ben left school, the world he knew disappeared. The lack of routine and social contact was difficult for him. He is a very sociable guy and loves to chat.
To change that, we created Divine Social, an events community that gave Ben regular meet-ups, friendships, and a reason to get out and belong.
Divine Social thrived. We now run around 14 events a month, plus weekends away and cooking courses. In those courses we saw real capability emerge. We saw focus, teamwork and consistency and realised that many participants had the potential to take their passion for cooking further if only they had the right opportunity.
That insight has become our new café: a working venue where people with Autism and intellectual disability can build practical hospitality skills through structured, on-the-job coaching—then step into paid roles when ready. It’s simple: good coffee, honest food, and meaningful opportunities. Your cup helps someone take their next step
